Christmas is coming to Näsilinna! Museum Milavida has been decorated for Christmas, and objects and stories about the Christmas celebrations of 19th century gentlefolk have been added to The Nottbecks – Cosmopolitans of Tampere exhibition. The wonderful mood of Christmas is here!

Christmas at the Palace consists of an exhibition, themed guided tours and a rich supporting programme. The exhibition and guided tours explore 19th century Christmas dishes, decorations, gifts and celebrations. What did Christmas dishes taste like, how did wealthy families decorate their homes for Christmas? How did people spend their time during the Christmas holidays? What gifts might the von Nottbecks, for example, have given each other?
